You should allow approximately one hour for the tour, which is mainly indoor and partly outside. We regret there is no wheelchair access to the first floor, nor the South Tower. If you are wishing to have a group tour, for 10 or more people, please call to arrange a special time. We can lay on some catering for groups.
We have a large free car & coach park and conveniences for ladies, gentlemen and children. No dogs please except guide-dogs. Please park in the main car park and walk to the Castle Entrance in the courtyard; there is a waiting shelter available. Drivers may drop off elderly and disabled passengers in the courtyard and disabled drivers may park there (Blue badge).
